Jonna Clark has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism, which she earned from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 1984. She has held positions in community journalism, and in the field of public relations. Jonna now works as a freelance feature writer, soon to be published in Today's Christian Woman magazine. She is the author of two other children's stories, and is a published poet. Jonna remains active as a post-abortion lay-counselor and as a board member of a crisis pregnancy center in the community where she lives.Illustrated by Sandra Cress
Sandra Cress graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. She has written and illustrated two of her own picture books, which are now in submission to publishers. She has won various drawing awards, and has had her work exhibited in "Artwest", an annual, juried regional art exhibit. Her drawings have been shown throughout Wisconsin, including a group exhibit which toured the state in 1992. Other drawings and paintings by Sandra Cress are currently being represented by Erinwood Gallery in Sister Bay, Door County, Wisconsin.Guidelines by Jeanne Hammond
Jeanne Hammond earned a Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Wisconsin - Stout. For her Master's thesis, "The Counseling Experience of the Post-Abortive Woman," Jeanne interviewed hundreds of women in a two-state area. She has served for four years as a consulting therapist for the crisis pregnancy center in her community, as well as lead and co-facilitated a post-abortive counseling group there. As a Marriage and Family Therapist counseling on the issue of post-abortion trauma for 13 years, Jeanne has unique and extensive knowledge and perspective on the syndrome. Jeanne has experience as a forum speaker at universities in Wisconsin, and participated as a presenter for training workshops.
