A History of the Thurbers, By Charles H. Thurber contains biographical information on a number of Thurbers and associated families, and historical information on some locations. The index on the film contains names with references to items which actually don't have any new information, but are merely repetitions of dates presented elsewhere. In retyping the list, I have excluded those names. For the remaining names, the biographical information ranges from something as short as a statement of cause of death or dates of military service, to several hand-written pages about the person or place. I would be glad to provide information on any of these during the remaining few months I have access to the microfilm of this book.
